Art For You Gallery is dedicated almost exclusivly to Holy Land art and scenes. The gallery hosts the artist studio and he lives and work in it's area. We are located in Pardes Hanna, the famous artists' colony near Caesarea, Israel.
About the artist:
Goldberg was born in 1947 in Munich, and at the age of 5 he emigrated with his parents to Israel, the only ones of their family to survive the holocaust.
Goldberg's extraordinary talent was discovered at an early age and at the age of 16 he had a first exhibition of his paintings. During the following years he had 54 joint and solo exhibitions in the USA, Canada, Holland, Germany, Scotland and Israel.
After his military service as an officer in a fighting unit in the Yom Kippur war, the artist relocated to the artists colony i ...n Safed and started a long career as a wall painter. His works which reflect his love to the Holy Land, can be found in privet collections all over the world.
The relief works are an exclusive development of the artist, using Israeli limestone. The stone is processed and turned to grainy powder, to which, using a secret process, the artist adds minerals, bronze particles and gold creams. The artist, using this unique mixture, sculpts the landscapes of the holy land in three dimensions and in a rich and luxurious texture.
